How can I place an order?
Order online, go to one of my craft shows or email me or call with an order.
What payment methods do you accept?
Credit card, personal check, money orders and Paypal payments.
I use Paypal to conduct all of my electronic transactions and you DO NOT need a PayPal account to make a purchase. If you are having trouble with this, on the Paypal page look for the "Don't have a Paypal account? Use your credit card..." sentence and click the "continue" button to proceed.
When will my item be shipped?
Your purchase will be shipped within 2-4 business days by either US Priority Mail or Fed Ex Ground, depending on location. I will send you a confirmation email and tracking number letting you know your order is on its way.
“Made to order” listings may take up to one week before shipping.
Can I rush my order?
Please contact me if you would like a faster shipping method. Additional fees are applicable and must be paid before the package is sent out.
What are your domestic shipping/handling rates?
I DO NOT charge a handling fee.
My standard rates are as follows:
Order Total: $0.01 – $17.00 - SHIPPING COST: FREE!
Order Total: $17.01- $150 - $8.50
Order Total: $150.00 & up - SHIPPING COST: FREE!

What are your international shipping rates?
Our butterfly displays cannot be shipped abroad due to exporting restrictions. However, I can ship butterfly wing jewelry, key chains and bracelets abroad. Please contact me for my reasonable shipping rates.
What is your return policy?
At Bug Under Glass, I take great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of my products. If you are not satisfied, you may exchange or return your insect display for a refund or store credit (less shipping charges) on any item sold within 10 days of receipt. Please contact me via email prior to returning merchandise. Please note, I am not responsible for shipping on returned merchandise. Sorry, I can’t give a refund on custom orders.
What if I receive damaged or defective merchandise?
Please inspect your purchase as soon as it arrives. Damage claims must be made within 48 hours of the package arrival and cannot be made after 48 hours. If you have received an item that is damaged or defective, contact me immediately for a return authorization number.
Do you do custom orders?
Yes! I will work with you on designing a display just right for you, a friend, your wedding or company. To order your own custom masterpiece, email me.
Do you offer wholesale?
YES, contact me with a resale number and whether you are an online store or brick and mortar.
Is shopping with you safe?
The Bugunderglass website is secured with SSL, the industry standard for encryption on the web, and the same security used by e-commerce sites everywhere.
What is your privacy policy?
I respect your privacy and will never sell or trade any personal information.
Are all pieces exactly the same?
There may be very slight variations as all specimens are obtained from nature.
Do all Blue Morpho butterflies have their abdomens removed?
Yes, because oils in this butterfly's abdomen stains their beautiful wings after they pass, the abdomen is always removed. You can't find a Morpho butterfly on the market today with an abdomen.
How do I maintain my butterfly display?
With basic proper care your Bug Under Glass insect display can last a lifetime. No special care is required but do avoid direct sunlight, close proximity to heating, and humid conditions.
